Kevin Mirallas

Be devastated if we lost him. Easily my favourite player and he's been our best by some margin this year, even though he's struggled with injury.

He makes things happen when he plays, something Everton wingers rarely do. In addition, he's manned up infinitely in the past few years and he gets stuck in all over the pitch. He steps up when it matters most and never gives a half-arsed performance like some.

If he wants to move on, then I really don't blame him, but I've yet to see anything compelling to suggest he actually does. He's well loved at the club and I'm fairly sure he loves it here too. What we really need is to go out and buy another player or two to take the burden off him. Give him some other gifted, explosive players to work with, instead of relying on him to make everything happen as the rest of the players shuffle around the pitch waiting for their turn to lose the ball.

Is this the Piennar scenario all over again?

If there is any inkling that he wont sign a deal then sell him now to the highest bidder.

Dormund are the proof that sitting on player contracts gets you knowhere if it means no money at the end of it

Roberto Martinez says Everton will show Kevin Mirallas - a target for Borussia Dortmund and Atletico Madrid - they can get back on track for the Champions League starting against West Brom tonight. FFS some one should keep this man away from the press.

Christ, surely he never said that?

Atlético and Borussia Dortmund?
How do you figure that one?
They are mid-table sides in obscure foreign leagues. La Liga is the preserve of Barca and Real; the rest are also-rans, every season. Hold on a minute... a brief attempt to become better-informed tells me that Atletico won the thing last year. It must be the ultimate satisfaction, to knock both Barca and Real off their perches in tha same season. Nevertheless, what have Atletico got to offer, other than a "plucky underdog" schtick?

An appearance in thee Champions League final? I wonder how far away we are from that position.

Question: If you could sell Kev now, and that money funded the transfer to bring Deulofeu in on a 5 year deal, would you make the deal today? For example, we sell Kev for 15 mil or thereabouts...

Alright, alright- apart from winning La Liga, beating the two best-funded club sides in the world over a full season, Champions League footy every year, including getting to the final, nice weather and plans for a grand new stadium, with an actual, real completion date, what have Atletico Madrid got to offer a player that he cannot get at Everton?

If we weren't suffering for form it would clearly be the time to sell him seeing as he's obviously fancying a change, but considering a lot of our offensive players are suffering to find consistent form we can't offord to and will have to take the hit on his value in the summer.

It may even work to our advantage if we turn our form around and do well in the Europa, Mirallas might have a late change of heart.

Sangria, sun. Can the wide boulevards of Walton compete?

They don't have half time messages from Rocky Balboa.

As talented as he is I don't think Mirallas works hard enough to play in a top CL team. He is very skilful, very pacy and can score great goals, but in top teams nearly all the midfielders and forwards are, but they work incredibly hard as well, Kevin has to bring that to his game yet.
