Kevin Mirallas

I'm so excited about not knowing what our starting 11 or our formation will be next year. Will barkley start? Will Vic be our main striker? Will Fellaini be kept up top, will kev play on the left, the right or the middle? We don't know any of this. For the first time in eleven years, I don't really know what kind of team we'll be. The possibilites are quite exciting. If we get another 4-5-1 devotee who contineus to pick osman and ignore the kids, I'll top myself.

But look at that team we have, it's so so good. Moyes has left us in such a strong position. If Mirallas can kick on, we get a good coach in and we buy smartly this summer, we'll be a real force next year.

And this guy will a big part of it. I can honestly see this lad being a proper star.

Not sure about the negs for Osman. He's ace in my book and has that bit of class to link up the play.

Agree with the rest though - exciting times ahead.

For all of the negative things i'll say about Moyes flogging Rodwell for £15m and buying this kid was an absolute masterstroke.

I'd just woken up and read your post as if to say Moyes might take him with him. I could handle nearly any of our players going with him but if he takes Mirallas then I'd weep. Let's hope it doesn't come to that!

It is exciting though, isn't it? Personally I'm hoping he's given a more central/left sided role so he can make the most of his shooting ability. He's as natural a goal scorer as we've had since Yakubu. Not to mention his pace and dribbling. He really is the most exciting player we've had in years. Potentially where could he end up? One of the best winger/forwards in the league? I don't think that's too far out of the question.

After yesterday I'll go into the summer with a bit of encouragement. I just hope there were a few big name managers watching that yesterday thinking "Wow, I want some of that". I'd love our new manager to really embrace with the fans, someone who "gets it".

And most of all get Barkley on FFS. I'd like to think whoever is going to come in will be building his team around those two.

I don't think Moyes will go for him simply because he already has Nani, Welbeck, Valencia and Young. I don't think fast counter attacking wingers will be his priority.

But I think he does rate him very highly so maybe. Hope not, though. If he can kick on he might turn out to be one of Moyes' best signings for us. He provides that direct running that we've been missing ever since andrei left.

4-5-1 ????

You do realize all season we have played 4-2-3-1 ????

And nearly every in the PL plays a variation if 4-5-2/4-2-3-1

We've actually mostly played 4-4-2 this year, tbh.

But you know what I mean, we all know what a Moyes team looks like and how it plays, it would be kind of depressing to see exactly the same next year and no change.

Not that one... We have signed a Belgian striker by the name meireles as you can see spelling his names not my strong point

the great thing about this tip was that when you google all mentions of media reports the earliest is always this thread from 14/08. A few rumour-type articles from the 15th & 16th, and finally confirmed in the mainstream media on the 19th.

But what does he know of our next manager?

DAVIDMOYES doesn't come on this site no more mate. I think people bullied him off it or something.
He is on twitter like but just doesn't reply when you ask for info. Bore.
