I think Moyes will be confident of getting him but we've seen players and agents say one thing and do another plenty of times. Fernandes is a prime example as is Pienaar when he was making sounds about signnig a nerw contract before deciding he wanted to go to Spurs.

I guarantee that players and their clubs will have been sounded out though. It's not as though we'll just be chasing this one deal and then if it doesn't work out we'll suddenly start looking at a completely new one. All deals take time
