If you want your faith restored in true sport and sportsmanship, I suggest you watch the All Ireland Football Final on Sunday after the Wolves match.

None of these players gets paid a penny for playing. 82500 at Croke Park watching true amateur gladiators.

Most soccer players would be crying for their Mammies (Seamus a notable exception) with the first tackle.

Come on the Dubs!!! Going for the never before attained 5 in a row sgainst our greatest rivals Kerry. I am in no way complacent.

I hope to catch the first half of the Wolves game before taking my seat for the ultimate football game!! :p :pint2:
I watched 11 seasons of Gaelic Football when Moyes managed Everton.

I am tempted to say "how very dare you " as that is a gross insult to Gaelic football.

Seriously, watch this tomorrow and tell me about Prem players ripping off clubs.

These lads do it for no pay.....just a simple thing called passion.

Labby, Bally, Dixie, Farrell, Hickson, Ratcliffe and Seamus got or get it fir Everton.

Historical fact:

Jack Kirwan, Everton's first Irish player, was signed from St James Gaels in 1898. Another early Everton player to make the Gaelic-to-Association football transition was Valentine Harris From Isles of the Sea Gaelic Athletic Club.

I've tried to watch Gaelic football in the past. I just cant get into it, but I appreciate the athleticism. The Aussie Rules versus Gaelic football matches are interesting...mostly from the point of view of who's temper goes first!

Pity Gaelic football has been ruined by the millions given to Dublin.

The competition is already completely weighted in the Dubs favour

No premier league team gets to play 90% of games in their own ground.

As they have the pick of 20% of the population with the other 80% spread throughout the remaining 31 counties they also have a numerical advantage. Being from Down with a small GAA base to pick from it is a wonder we are ever able to compete.
To get back on topic, it pleased me greatly to see the back of Mirellas, I am a firm believer in talent not being enough to ensure success, you also need the correct attitude, Mirellas had the talent but lacked the attitude.
