don't know why we are getting worked up chances are no one will come in
as Kenwright once said......... WATCH THIS SPACE .............. still watching Billy...

With a budget of around £4m to spend on a striker, we could a lot worse than spend it on Kevin Doyle. Prolific 20-a-season goalscorers cost a lot more. Just because he's at Wolves shouldn't be held against him. If he came here it would be a big step up; players have to start somewhere.

Is that how much we have stockpiled for a striker? £4m? We could get Hugo for that, his contract is up at the end of the season. He's better than Doyle, although not by much. I would take either though, definitely.

He works very hard for the team , holds the ball up well and brings others in but doesn't seem to score much or have that guile to score a goal out of nothing.

I think if we had a midfield and wingers full of creativity and goals he would be ok as the lone striker but we don't so think he would struggle.

We wont get him. We wont get anyone. It's just a story to run the clock down and keep the natives from getting restless.

Wrong Wolves striker. Doyle has scored only 2 domestic goals this season, he'll be 29 in September and he's under 6 foot. Steven Fletcher is who we need. He's scored 9 in 19, he will be 25 in March and he's 6 ft 1.

One look at Moyes' face on Friday when asked about incomings tells you all you need to know. It's not happening this January.

I think we've got a loan left in us this window. We'd probably need Wolves to go down for us to be able to afford Fletcher.
