FFS this guy won't leave me alone.

I used to watch Chesterfield a lot when he was there and thought he was sh*t. Then he went to Saints and scored that stupid goal when he took on all our players at Goodison, now this?!

I'll tell ya something i'am still baffled now we didn't sign Phillips instead of Straqularsi, me and my dad mention this twice a day, even at 37 to bring him on for 15 mins everyweek you would get goals when players are tiring, that chance at the end yesterday people were flapping at, panicking in the box, I'd have my money on him finding the net,

Would it be slightly embarrassing signing Phillips at 37?? ... Yes
Would he score more goals of the bench than Straq and possibly Victor ??? ... Yes

Interesting.

I actually fully agree. He's a goalscorer. And we havnt had one of any age for beards.

What makes ya think he's prob earning button's at Blackpool too and if we went in for him tomorrow he'd walk all the way here, like I say it's embarrassing for sure but in the final part of every match he would be lethal for 10/15 mins, and unlike Kevin Davies he doesn't need every ball lumping up in the air, making us even less attractive to watch ..... If that's possible

Sit him on Halfway with his slippers and Paper and wake him up for shots when we get the ball.

Kevin Phillips is a friend of a friend and would love one last ditch at top flight football, he is going to retire at the end of this season too

A few years ago I would have definitely taken him. He's a very traditional center forward.

A few seasons ago he was quite a handful for opposition defenders. Now it looks like his age has finally caught up to him.
