Kenwright's Wrongdoings?

Im not kicking off, I simply think the man is a lying scumbag, only interested into holding on to his trainset for as long as possible. Not worth getting all upset about.

Well you have no proof at all to say he is lying. All your doing, and all any of you lot in the minority are doing are simply jumping on the bandwagon.

You calling him a liar and with vindication that he is ruining Everton Football Club, when it's the exact opposite and I'm astonished that you (who I presume are intelligent) can't see that.

Love to hear them, from what I have read on TW, BK, NSNO, the blerts over at KEIOC and here - I see hot air, very little substance but an awful lot of hear'say.

If anything I believe Kenwright is far too romantic towards Everton to be a lying scumbag that many make out. I also believe he is far too trusting and believes too much of what he is told by those who surround him.

Nobody and I mean nobody can ever say that the man does not have Everton's best interests at heart. On a shoe string, and without incurring half as much debt as supposed bigger clubs have amassed, he has built a club that has a very good squad, a well loved (by some) manager, an excellent academy with state of the art facilities, and a feeling around the place that this is a great club.

How many players felt that for most of the 90s?

Getting a bit sick of people diving in and making outlandish claims with no proof at all. Saying that he is selling the family silver etc...has he? are we in as much debt as Liverpool? Man U? Have we amassed debt and then got relegated? Has he sold us out to dodgy shieks and arabs that have ****ed Pompey over? How about selling us to dodgy Icelandic folk who ****ed over West Ham?

I think some people need to get over this blockade that they have setup which prevents them from listening, thinking and having a rationale thought about our chairman.

Sure I criticise Moyes, I think he makes weird decisions - but he's been a good man to have at the helm and has done well. I think he can do more, and it frustrates me to see him not take some kind of risk, but I can understand why he doesn't do it - as I can understand why Kenwright doesn't give the club up to some American group who just want to use it as a vehicle to facilitate their own debt repayments.

So go on, what exactly has the man done wrong?

But on what "evidenced" do you base those beliefs Ghost Are you in the know?

And how is that any different from someone who believes Kenwright is a lying scumbag out to control the club till he dies?

Why? because Everton have a great squad, a potentially great manager, we compete with the best, we have a great academy with some really talented kids. Those there are facts, we can see it day in day out.

- King's Dock
- Fortress Funds/Colin Samuelson
- Rooney
- Kirkby
- Fernandez & Gosling **** ups
- His larup he spouts when things are good on the pitch
- His 'head in sand' when things go wrong/need sorting
- His grip on his wallet and reluctance to spend - Oh, but he's looking for investment 24/7 so that's OK
- His lack of business acumen

The man's an ex actor FFS, he's full of [Poor language removed] and I for one can't believe a word he says from now on - other than his 'Boys pen/Dave Hickson' stories he regurgitates every season. Seems to be the only thing he's spoken a true word about

Future ticket sales were sold.

Finch Farm was sold

Our debt compared to other clubs may not appear large but relative to our turnover it is.

Not saying BK has done right or wrong just wished to make the above points.

I think its important to be objective about Bill, he has saved the club from going under, he has grown the buissness, he has invested this growth back into the club, he has picked and backed one of the best young managers in the league - this upward trajectory continues. A phenomnal job he has done from where we started from.

I have no doubht he has made mistakes, I think he would admit that himself, FSF was one - or perhaps just the use of a clever bargaining chip. To be honest the one thing that i would be critical about is the Stadium issue, it was badly needed 20 years ago and is still ongoing, the Kings Dock would have been fantastic, it was the right deal at the wrong time for us, Kirkby really was an excellent deal and the club were right to pursue it agian it was unfortunate it didnt come of - and left massive scars in all things Everton.

Im massively frustrated that we still have no plan for a new or redeveloped ground - though i expected as much after Kirkby, its the biggest thing that will contribute to our growth.

He will always have my gratitude, as unlike others, i appreciate how he has given us back our diginity and pride as a club from being the most debt ridden and unfashionable club in the PL. Its sad how others now expect rather then appreciate everything hes done, but as the song say if you know your history, to know where your heading you have to konw where youve been.

Right then I see. Well seen as you've all said it like that. Let's all get tooled up with rags, petrol and a big **** off family size box of Cook's matches. I'm going to burn some [Poor language removed] at Goodison.

Nobody? Nobody wants to stand up for themselves here? Oh right, why not? Thought this was your dearest club and that we can't allow some ****wit to damage it so? If he was a Kopite you all would.

....OK Einstein, your solution?

Agree with a lot of what Ghost says. I am fed up with the the robot-like Kenwrongers, getting extremely boring now. Perhaps they would prefer it if Peter Johnson was still in charge, overseeing the day to day machinations of a league 2 club, because that is where we would be by now. Why can't people take a positive look at the club, the strongest squad we have had for a considerable number of years with a top manager.

The league is tougher than ever, and to see that we still continue to compete with these 'top' clubs with their obscene open cheque books is great to see. I personally wouldn't want to sell out to become a sideline business venture for some no-mark Arabs/Americans/Chinese/Thais or whatever.

As for the 'Bill's train set' analogy - Abramovich has got one but will soon get fed up with it, Gillet/Hicks bought one but kept it in the box thinking they could sell it for more than they paid for it if they didn't play with it.

I am optimistic and looking forward to what I feel is going to be a great season, everyone is entitled to their opinion, but why are some people so negative no matter what is happening on the pitch.

Well what makes me laugh mate is that Moyes has said he is happy with his squad. I'm happy with the squad. Kenwright has said he is still trying and tried to explain to people that there are many tits out there who claim to be something they are not.

What it reminds me of is this:

Wont see the Iron Sheikh do this around, Eastlands.

Great to see Dave Hickson also:
