Met people in the last 5-6 months, who walk away impressed but never come back with an offer

Be great to say to the fans "I've found you the one"
Not fussed about being chairman, at the start of every meeting (presumably shareholder meetings...ahem...) he says "If you want me to stay, I'll stay; if you want me to step down, I'll step down, but more or less everyone wants him to stay"

Four on a shortlist before he met Moyes. First man and last man he met. Moyes "really, really" wanted to manage Everton and told BK he'd always had an affinity for Everton and that this was the job he really wanted.
