A very odd fellow is Wyness, wasn't up to the job. a larger than life Walter Mitty character, yet some believe and take as gospel his recounting of the infamous James bond style meeting with Green aboard his yacht.
Hmm, I for one wouldn't count anything he has to say as being factual.

This is the same man who was our Chief Executive for about 3 weeks before he decided he couldn't hack it.

I think Sodexo's gravy has something to do with it.

He was Everton chief executive for 4 years mate, from 2004 to 2008.

2004

July: First linked to CEO job after Trevor Birch's resignation just six weeks into the job, when he was still £100,000-a-year chief executive at Aberdeen.
Unveiled as new CEO in September.

2005

November: Everton's stadium plans are like "three-dimensional chess," Wyness says, because of the wait to see what Liverpool FC's move would be.
December: Wyness confirms talks have been held with financiers over bankrolling a new 50,000-seat £125m stadium.

2006

News breaks that Wyness is in talks with Peel Holdings over building a new stadium at Switch Island.

May: Council leader Warren Bradley vows to "fight tooth and nail" to stop Everton FC leaving Liverpool, after it emerges Knowsley was offering the club three possible plots including land next to Kirkby sports centre in Valley Road.

June: Wyness claims that his club could have a new stadium before Liverpool, despite Everton having yet to decide on a site for any new ground.

2007

March: Mr Wyness tells a House of Commons seminar that Everton would be interested in the possible return of a limited standing area if they proceed with a proposed move to a new stadium.

2008

April: Wyness concerned about the long-term ramifications of the club's proposed move to Kirkby if the Government launched an inquiry.

July: Wyness quits as CEO and director of the club.

He was allegedly famously sacked on-board Sir Phillip 'nothing to do with Everton' Green's yacht, you know, the one that Simon Cowell is always photographed on.

Mainly because he has jumped sides. His infamous 'one extra kettle' spin during DK was Mitty like but can't remember you're having a pop at him then? ;)

Think the yacht trip was a gagging session, Barrymore stylee, he had already resigned iirc?

Well it's been a while since a good old takeover story.

I expect as all the others, this is a load of nothing.

Were Everton.... We Don't do takeover's god damm it!!

Firstly, How the hell would Wyness know about any takeover?
And secondly, Is it not a bit late for him to start keeping us up to date with club business, if he'd done it when he worked here maybe he wouldn't've been chucked off a yacht.

I believe Keith owned a business that specialised in relocations of football clubs and tried a similar DK style stunt up in Scotland for Aberdeen(I think) before he was at Everton.

I sincerely hope the man never has anything to do with us again for any reason.
