Bill Kenwright is not the bad guy here.

I think a distinction does need to be made however, between his desire for "investment" and an actual sale. For me personally, I don't believe the club has ever been up for 100% sale. I think Bill wants to retain control and just have someone pump some money in, perhaps for the stadium.

That doesn't make the guy a complete **** or a liar in my opinon.

Of course it doesn't. I think he looks around and he sees the likes of Liverpool imploding, Pompey and so on. Does he want to be vindicated for selling Everton out? I don't think he does and why should he?
 
It will be interesting to see if the "massive Evertonian" Terry Leahy puts any investment into the club.

This guy was so concerned about our future direction, not so long ago.

Why is Bill the only blue holding the club together? I feel sorry for the guy myself, he's doing a largely thankless job.

Thats my thought knowing the way our luck goes. Of course peeps see us being missed for investments/buyouts and along with failed stadium moves and not pumping money into the club BK remains target no1 for all things apparently wrong. Cant defend his failings atall but I can defend him not advising the board to accept offers should they ever happen at any price. That's as far as it goes for me as I don't know the man personally so can not say the mans good,bad,evil etc but am content that myself and my kids can continue to watch our team proudly on the pitch, whatever happens with ownership/investment issues.
