I feel the same way about curry and also fish and chips.I prefer donner kebab, if only because they aren't on every street corner here in the US, where as pizza is. When I get over there I embarrass myself on donner.
At uni I occasionally (by which I mean once a week) indulged in a 12-inch "Meat Monster" (yes, laugh it up...) - its toppings consisted of:
- Kebab meat
- Tandoori chicken
- Chinese pork
- Chilli ground beef
- Pepperoni
- Ham
Only in Stoke....
Yeah, but pork knuckle. Whenever I'm in one of the visegrad countries I'm all over the pork knuckle.I feel the same way about curry and also fish and chips.
Can't get really good curry in the Czech Republic and fish and chips is non existent. I plan to return to the UK for the first time in 9 years next summer and eat it all.
I extend the same invitation to you Davey as the rest of the shelter crew, you're ever over here let me know, I'll set you up with the absolute best vepřové koleno you've ever eaten.Yeah, but pork knuckle. Whenever I'm in one of the visegrad countries I'm all over the pork knuckle.
And Jocky Wilson lolNo wonder Gordon Brown, looks and talks the way he does.
Ha, that would be awesome. I've sorely missed free and easy travel.I extend the same invitation to you Davey as the rest of the shelter crew, you're ever over here let me know, I'll set you up with the absolute best vepřové koleno you've ever eaten.
The best places are usually found by the transport depots, especially in Prague outside of the centre of the city. But, there's a place in Plzen which puts everywhere else to shame.
But, I miss my fish and chips all the same. Also smoked haddock. I'll stop now, making myself sad and hungry.
Last Wednesday. I'd just finished a tough day at work. I looked in the freezer to see we didn't have any pizza so I decided to have a kebab. Jumped in the car to nip to the take away but ended up in Tesco buying a twin pack of Jaffa Cakes. Was I happy? Yes I was happy. If you can name the occasion when you've set off thinking pizza or kebab and settled for jaffa cakes and - and - been happy with it. I might change the poll.
It's not a GOT poll if cheese on toast isn't an option. In this context, isn’t cheese on toast pretty close to being pizza
I think you were ravenous and as a consequence delirium had set in. The resulting sugar rush led to an amount of endorphins being released and you felt happy as a result.Last Wednesday. No need to put them in your poll, they live rent free in my heartI think you were ravenous and as a consequence delirium had set in. The resulting sugar rush led to an amount of endorphins being released and you felt happy as a result.
I also don't know how to change the poll. So Jaffa Cakes can't go on there.
Sort of... I burned a slice of cheese pizza because we got one of those combination toaster oven/air fryers in and I can’t get the timing right. It's not a GOT poll if cheese on toast isn't an option.
Have you ever been disappointed by cheese on toast though?
