I agree with the chicomelt, 2 footed, very, very harsh, but laws of the game and all that jazz. See tackles like that every week, 3-4 a game.

I didn't want to see him go off but he's got to know himself if you going into a tackle two footed and with your studs up then there's a chance you could be sent off.

The defender that got sent for Villa should have been sent in the first half for his tackle on Baines in the first half.

cuz if its about studs the no one would be left on the pitch full time as a sliding tackle needs studs up!

Doesn't matter fella, he lunged in with his studs showing and injured the man in the process. The referee walked and even our own Manager didn't disagree with the sending off.
