Everton mess up (or get the dirty end of the stick) again.. even when it's not really the club's fault.. Inter-City rules, Albert Dunlop's Purple Hearts, Tony Kay, Heysel, Clive Thomas, The Fog at Maine Road, Dixie's Motorbike, Two World Wars - and no doubt it won't be the last time!!

Somebody up there definitely doesn't like us..

Don't mean to sound a miserable git but isn't the whole concept a bit naff? Playing off old stereotypes that Americans are all clueless when it comes to European football, someone has honestly made an entire TV show where that's the main joke? Just sounds really puerile.

Bob Bradley, granted he wasn't very good, but some of the stick he got during his spell managing Swansea just because of his terminology was bang out of order. Nothing but pure xenophobia.

The premise is an American football coach becoming a manager without any experience, so not really.

It certainly doesn't offend us that I can tell, as most people I know love the show (most of which are not football fans). It probably relates better to an American audience that way honestly, because the overwhelming majority of Americans would be totally lost with the terminology if the show just began with the assumption that the viewer had knowledge of European football/Premier League. Actually, I guarantee you it's more approachable for the average American viewer because of the simplistic coach/manager battling the terminology learning curve (allowing the viewer to do it too without feeling stupid).
