Haven't they been "stubborn" over him coming ever since we first had him?

Exactly, nothing to see here, moving on, all signs still pointing towards actual movement for Everton in this window and January. SQUEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NO, SERIOUSLY, could we actually play 2 strikers, 1 pacy, AND a pacy right winger?!?!?!?!

*Faints*

WAKE UP YOU ARE DREAMING!!

Rumors that MLS are beeing stubborn over letting Landon go.

That's really always been the case.

I don't know if people in the UK quite realize what Donovan means to the league here. He's literally the poster boy for American soccer and losing him to Europe would be a massive blow to MLS, hence the big price tag.

I wouldn't be surprised to see him overvalued by $5 million or so simply due to his marketing value.

.

Great point, others have made, but the fact you're from the USA hopefully cements that impression. Having Howard as our goalkeeper, Donovan even just for loan spells coming over, together with our recent USA tours pre-season, now Cahill moving there, - well that's just all lovely - USA culture and UK culture - well fact is that we're linked, and it's part of the reason I would want both Dempsey and Donovan here. Would be a great profile-raising thing for Everton, good for the club in this modern day and age of life. They're bloody good players too. However I doubt now that Moyes will go for Dempsey, but here's hoping he stays at Fulham to see his contract out and joins us as we have qualified for the CL next year, and let's ALL really hope Donovan finishes his career at Everton or comes back again one day. Would be superb.

Anyone see the article with Donovan saying he may move from the States when his contract expires at the end of next year, or he may even retire.

Hes getting all Svengali as he get older.

I read that as, "please let me go."
