Well apparently if you can give good enough reason it is allowed. I can't live on £35 a day. That's just stupid. Mine is in October too, wonder if it's the same case.

Well if you can prove that you can't live on £35 a day then yes I should be allowed to be excused.

It's not a paycut mate, I'm self-employed - I need a minimum amount to survive, £35 isn't going to be enough. It's not a case of dealing with it, I won't be able to pay bills.

But apparently the form says I can defer for 12 months for good reason - my reason being is that I am starting my own self-employed business and if I am away for 2 weeks then I can't manage it, physically or financially.

Well that's your experience mate. I appreciate it, but I am someone who is looking to start up a business and the government is keen to promote free enterprise, so I think I have a pretty decent case. Because if I am to earn what £350 over 2 weeks instead of double that for what I need to survive then that surely is seen as damaging a young and vibrant business. All because some weapon can't obey the law, why should I suffer? As far as I'm concerned the ****er is guilty before I even get in there.
