Junior/kids season tickets

Question for the wise ones.

I got a half season ticket at Christmas plus two tickets for my girls (under 11).

Seeing as I won't be able to take them to some of the matches - like the evening match against Palace for example - how easy is it for me to pay the difference and bring a mate instead?

I think they charge the diff. plus a fiver handling charge ?

....this is probably the wrong thing to say, but I have heard of adults attending on junior tickets. I don't know how closely the tickets are examined.

I told my son this last week, so he checked when we went in, both of our tickets flashed green.

Thought it was strange.
