Played deeper, played as the wider left of a 4-3-3, he's still young enough that with a good coach he can be worked into any of those positions really mate
It almost feels like a back to basics season for Barkley. He is getting better but you just feel he hasn't taken that final step yet. The last 2 years under Roberto really didn't help the lad but young enough to recover as you said.

Just my opinion but ultimately he has had a manager who hasn't helped him past the point of having the confidence to play him initially

Don't see any part of Barkleys game that has been developed more than it would have happened with even basic coaching, natural development, and with experience of playing, could argue certain parts of his game have regressed that he naturally had (free kicks being a noticeable one but if you don't practise them then what you expect)

Hopefully Koeman does go back in with him and really help him to develop his game as natural ability wise he far exceeds the likes of Deli Ali etc, now hopefully we will see that come out on the pitch, if he ends up a centre mid, or one of the attacking mids i have no idea, but under Bobby he would never be able to play more than that attacking mid role.

This isn't quite right either. Peter Coates is the chairman but not the owner. According to the Stoke website:
"The ultimate parent company of Stoke City Football Club Limited is bet365 Group Limited.
bet365 Group Limited is under the control of Denise Coates CBE and her family."

According to Forbes Real Time rankings, Denise Coates is worth $2.9bn, and John Coates is worth $1.5bn, while Farhad Moshiri is worth $1.9bn.
Hope this helps.

Surely this just means Stoke are essentially a subsidiary of Bet365? In which case you could go sum up all the net-worths of all the Coates family and use that but it doesn't really make sense as a comparison.... this will be apparent when you compare what Stoke spend this summer in comparison to Everton.

Will be grand when Usmanov decides to join his buddy Moshiri anyway, then we can install those golden urinals.

You can have rich owners who want to spend and move on to the next level and rich owners who see their club as a cash cow, we have the former, just sit back and enjoy.
