Yeah going by the other clubs coming in for him now I’m sure Brands wanted to let this slip under the radar.

We hold the aces though; biggest club, Ancelotti, real chance of playing time and of course a Dutch DoF.

A lot of Dutch lads can speak English (similar languages no?), I wonder if he speaks English and having Brands here would be an factor? Probably not but there’s a lot of things for him to weigh up if they are the clubs in for him. Again, will watch this space but won’t get my hopes up just yet

I think that this is a very good point.
He is likely to be fluent in English, will know the set up at FF and see friendly faces on Brands and Ancelotti.
I think he will find it far easier to integrate here than at Parma and that Kean was able to do here.
However ( without knowing the team at Parma ) I suspect that he may get more game time in Italy.
With the race for European football being so tight I can only see Carlo playing his best team every week and not rotating unless there is an injury to DCL.
He will surely start on the bench and have to try to make an impact when he comes on if he joins.
