Is he faster then tosun ..
Is he gonna put more effort then tosun ..

I think this is a shewd signing .. but i think were all a bit worried because of this season but what we need to realise the standard of players hes gonna be with will be massively improved

i can see him getting 8-10 goals me

130 pages of comments and there's several things we can all agree on:
  • He's a terrible signing that doesn't score goals
  • He's a great signing and gives us pace we don't currently have
  • It must be a loan because he'd never sign a 6 month deal
  • It's a 6 month deal with an option to extend
  • At 29 he is far too old to show any improvement
  • He has everything to play for to prove himself
  • He might not actually be Norwegian because his name is too English
  • He definitely needs to start against Leeds but can't start against Leeds
  • He'll give us another option in the FA Cup but can't play in the FA Cup
  • He'll probably get 10 goals by the end of the season
  • He'll get injured 20 minutes in to his first game and we'll never see him again
Exciting signing!!
Well you can’t say that Evertonians don’t make you think!!!

Yes, was banging them in for fun when on loan, but once he got his contract became a 1 in 4 striker

Not really.

We got him on loan where he scored 9 goals in 8 games and then signed him permanently. He had a decent first full season scoring on average 1 in 3. then the nex 2 seasons with less goals but played less due to injuries and still averaged 1 in 3, then another decent season and then injuries started to take its toll in his last 2 seasons where he barely played

Played a total of 139 games for us and scored 52 goals which is definitely not a 1 in 4 striker.

The way I see it there are 3 possible outcomes of this transfer.
1 he doesn’t make much of an impact and leaves in the summer. Minimal harm done and allows us to rest DCL or Richarlison for the odd game which hopefully allows them to avoid burnout.
2. He does ok. Scores 2 or 3 goals and is involved in a few others. His contribution is then worth 5-8 points and 1 or two league positions. In which case our league return money easily pays for his loan.
3. He does well and scores 5 plus goals, and the competition up front helps us go on another run and a crack at top 4. In which case we offer him another year.

Whatever the outcome, this was a signing that had to be completed
You missed out..

4. Injures himself in warm up v Leeds and never seen again
5. Scores a couple of goals, gets 10year 100K a week contract and never seen again.
