Look at the state of Man Utd just two years ago. He knows how to build a side that doesn't fear anyone.

I prefer Guardiola's style of football but admire Jose Mourinho more. What he did with Porto and Inter was phenomenal really.

The media darlings are currently that scruffy idiot across the park and Pochetinno. Neither have won anything in England.

Too big an ego to ever be long term like Ferguson though because it is never his fault. Cant abide listening to the creep.
 

I'm confused as to what United expect. They'be been Europa League standard for a good three to four years now - Mourinho has come in, improved them considerably, made them more solid as a team unit which is what they needed to build a foundation and even won a European trophy whilst in the early stages of transitioning that side.

Realism has to come into play. 2nd in the league after all. You'll be challenging City seriously inside two years if you give Mourinho time.

But he always has a melt down and upsets everyone in season 3?
 
You can tell from his interview that he knows he is in for a battering.

This won't be forgotten easily by Utd fans. (well the ones in Manchester anyway)

He's a results manager rather than a football one. He's been a coward across the two legs against a side that got twatted against Spartak and couldn't beat Maribor in two attempts.

It's a shocking result for a club of their stature.
