Jose Mourinho is boss

Jose will just be a footnote in the record books. He hasn't revolutionised the game like other's before him and since, he also hasn't proved himself to be able to build a dynasty.

He is no better than a C grade manager who got incredibly lucky that the stars aligned for him in 2004.

He's no Park Hang-Seo that's for sure.

Football has moved on past him, his tactics and style don’t work anymore. We’re in the era of high intensity pressing football. United need to get rid now and try and get pochettino.

He played high intensity at Porto...

Jose rebuilding job so far at man u is not good enough.

His signings have not been good. His team got no fluid or game plan. He got quality players such at mata and martial who were on the bench today. He fell out with Sanchez and Pogba. Lukaku 2 stone overweight. Young still playing every week. Matic and fellaini in midfield is to slow. Jose lost the plot.

I dont think hes the one who signs most or all of the players.

He's a dinosaur and looks a relic in the game today.

He should go into international football as he looks like he needs a time away from the weekly hustle and bustle of club football.

And he signs the players not Woodword, Mourinho refuses to have a DoF at United and his policy is buying Mendes and Raiola players.

They have no style, no cohesion and no blueprint going forward like the top 4 and Arsenal have who all have modern day progressive managers.

.

I don’t think he’s revolutionised the game and I do think maybe the game is leaving him behind a bit but hasn’t he won something like 17 or 18 trophies ? I’m pretty sure he’s won more than any manager in Europe about at the minute so if that makes him c grade then who are those that fill the A and B grade ?

For me as much as it looks like he’s lost his way at United he’s incredibly difficult to dismiss the huge array of trophies he’s won .

He has outspent the opposition wherever he's been and is nothing but a chequebook manager.

Well he didn’t outspend everyone to win his first champions league did he ? I do agree he spends a fortune but so do others and they aren’t the most successful managers around , I’m not saying he’s the greatest there has ever been but to dismiss him as C grade doesn’t seem appropriate either , surely that’s a reason to qualify his success rather than dismiss it .

It’s amazing that he’s still in a job, funniest thing in football. It’s alright, he’s got some easy games at home to limp to 2-0 wins and prolong the agony for the fans just a bit further coming up.

I feel 'C' grade is a good spot for him. He's not crap, but not great.

I’d say you’re right there, that’s probably what’ll happen . I’d expect Lukaku will score as well , the fella’s goalscoring record is proof if proof was needed stats may have their place in football but you watch it with your eyes.

So the current most successful manger is c grade , it’s painful at man united at present but I’ve got to disagree .

My point is he hasn't revolutionised the game (Like Wenger or Guardiola) or hasn't built a dynasty (Like Ferguson) to prove himself above a 'C' grade. He hasn't achieved success without outspending his rivals - Porto spent more than anyone in Portugal - and their run to the final was incredibly lucky, the only decent side they played were Real Madrid in the group stages and Madrid demolished them.
