he's been playing alot of reserve games to keep up match fitness, as well as that he has been away with the England squad. Would like to loan him out asap.

He wont....but he's filled the bench in a lot of games.
To be fair he did well in Scotland. Was MOTM in a good few games. Not that, that means much as the scottish league is pure wank :P
 
Jose Baxter - direct replacement for Gosling ?

Watched "little Baxter today" preseason.

The kids certainly beefed up something over the past few months. Looks quicker, sharper than he did last season for sure where he was well well of the pace.

Wasn't too impressed last season but there's certainly been a physical change in his physique and its showing in his game.

Lets see how his preseason goes.


Ready made replacement for Gosling in the squad?

I think so. Arguably - on today with a bit more pace too.

He could still be recalled, and well it's just nice to see the kids actually developing. Last season I thought he'd stalled completely and looked well short of pace. But seemed to be much fitter, bigger and stronger and looking much more confident too.

He could go on loan abit like Coleman, still subject to recall anyway.

Nov 2008, The Goat said throw Arteta in the middle, I think we all know where Moyes gets his ideas from.

Thats's a great pic/find. I hope he has got the number 9 shirt, gives me confidence if nothing else that he will be boss. They all seem correct don't they
