I'm.not saying this fella can't be successful, just not at Everton given our circumstances. It's too big a job where too much has to be done, it's a 5-7 year project that is back to square one AGAIN. I doubt very much that some 60 something fella who's never managed in this country before would have a clue what to do.

Managers don’t stay at clubs 5-7 years any more,
At Everton they currently average 15 months.
