They do if they're any good. Pochettino was at Spurs for 5 years. Klopp's in his fifth season now. Simeone has been at Atletico nearly a decade. Valverde is in his 4th year at Barca and would be getting an extension had the won the CL like they should have.

Even further down the food chain, Dyche and Howe have been at their clubs for ages now because they achieve what's asked of them. The clubs that constantly chop and change are the ones that usually sink away slowly (Sunderland, Swansea Watford, Southampton).
and us.

It would be interesting whilst being one of the biggest risks we could ever take. If we go for him, that tells me that literally nobody decent answered our emails

I see your point and agree to an extent.
But in truth I’m tired of the ‘project’.
If we must go down the path of sacking yet another manager then I’d prefer we appointed a man who plays attractive attacking football and has enough experience to cope with any problems that may occur. Someone who wants the challenge of managing our club .
If that man happens to be 65 , I couldn’t care less to be honest.

Whoever is our next appointment, I wouldn't be putting any money on him still being the manager if/when we play our first game at Bramley Moor.

Always jam tomorrow for Everton never jam today.
Can't make it until just before Christmas. Hope he beats the rs then comes to us on Christmas Eve.
Then watch us go on the 27th Vs Burnley.

An improvement however slight is still an improvement

Let us not also forget that this could be a reporter running with a blanket "Everton reach out to Flamengo" and assuming it's about Jorge when it could be about Reinier.

Who is this Gallardo everyone is referring to? The River Plate guy? Jorge is more accomplished.

Marcelo Gallardo

If you take into account his age (43) and the trophies;

Nacional
River Plate

He also won South American coach of the year last year. Also take into account he was only appointed River Plate manager in 2014 and the time in Uruguay was just 1 year where he won the league.

He is by far the most successful manager in River Plates 118 year history.

Seen as the next superstar manager to come out of South America and linked with Barca.

In short, hes someone who could be an all time great.
