Yeah, fingertips in that last game against Bournemouth, (Dacoure scored) if that went in we were relegated.
I know it's not just one save that makes a season, but you remember the gut wrenching games
Yep...the stakes on that Bournemouth game couldn't have been any higher.

For me that Leicester penalty save was equally as vital.

If Leicester win I think we'd have been toast.

…..he does mention family lots. A lad I know at FF says he’s one of the few who’ll still go for a pint with his dad at the weekend, says hello every morning and seems well grounded;

I wonder if that is part of the reason he has stayed with us? Family life for footballers can be challenging as moving between clubs is not uncommon every few years. I know people think “well they get a lot of money” but it still difficult to relocate your family that frequently and parents are particularly difficult to include in the process.

I also wonder how seeing the highs/lows of friends such as Grealish has impacted him? Yes Jack has the treble silverware to remember but also his clear joy now at simply playing every week and having to fight his way back into the England team shows that being at a “top 6” club isn’t without its downsides. Pickford knows that, barring injury or a catastrophic drop of form, he’ll play for us every week and that regularity improves his odds of keeping his England #1 position.
