He’s one of the only England players I’ve seen survive when media and pundits tried to get him out. He’s had spells where he’s been criticised by both and the managers have stuck with him.

Singlehandedly,or both handedly keept us up in at least 2 of our relegation scraps,the save against Chelsea propbably the best i have personally witnessed,the one against Leicester in the 2~0 away win a close 2nd.Forever grateful that he is one of us,give him any deal he wants and take into account what he has saved this club........

From a purely Everton FC point of view it is good that he plays for England. Raises our profile. I have seen how us signing Grealish has done that, too.

I couldn’t give two hoots about the England team but you’re spot on. It defo helps the profile and given that in the PL only Leeds had fewer players on international duty than us this week, we’ve still got work to do on that front.

You need to watch other keepers, any nationality, and then compare and think again. They ALL make mistakes, do "dodgy" kicjs, etc,, but our lad does fewer
