That game was just Pickford through and through. Errors , world class saves , rushes of blood , errors of judgement. You can never relax with him around. Thought overall he did well , but shouldn't really have still been on the pitch. Then again we are due some luck against that lot.

I'm not his biggest fan, and i don't think he will be evertons number 1 by next season, But he pulled off some truly world class saves today that kept us in the game.
He's always had the ability to do that, but the basics escape him sometimes. I wish he could get back to the keeper he was for us in his first season, as his concentration and consistency was there. But he's lost that.
If he can regain his form then we have a good goalkeeper again, But unfortunately i've not seen him be consistent since that first season.

You’re right, it was him in microcosm. The sort of game that will shift no one’s opinion of him because it summed him up perfectly.

He is an enigma. That was a top save from the header and a really good save from the free kick. But he shouldn't have even been on the pitch to make them and the less we say about the disallowed goal the better.
Simply I would trade those saves for a stable keeper. We might have conceded the same number of goals (3) but our defence would be more confident having a predictable keeper behind them.
