Beyond belief that Southgate picks this lad.

I can’t be arsed to do any research, but the championship must be littered with keepers at least as good as JP.

Lets hope he has great euros to get our money back...he has potential to be a top goalkeeper...but clearly has an issue keeping the concentration up for full games.

He absolutely will never be that.

His showmanship and hyperactivity mask a lot of his obvious failings.

I thought he was ropey at Sunderland but might develop into a decent keeper. He had some raw ability but needed to work on his decision making.

If anything he has developed his childish antics more, and regressed in the basics of goalkeeping.

Not sure if he has the mindset to reverse this either sadly.

I never rated him at Sunderland, just reminded me of someone in the park who loved diving around.

His positional play and ability to see damaged was nonexistent and it still isn’t

just another overhyped English player and good old Stevie boy got the cheque book out
