Top keeper and 1 of our best players. He will always get criticised by people for a stray pass because he has great ability picking 1 as well as his lively characteristics but it’s a shame our own fans criticise him so much. This forum is so anti Everton players espically Jordan and gilffy (both had brilliant seasons last season) it’s awful.

Well said mate. We are,as fans, very toxic and just seem intent on destroying our players. IMO, Pickford is a good keeper, not world class, but still good nonetheless.

Pickford is ok. We have other people to replace right now. Wow it's a big list. But if and it's a big if, we do start making headway under Ancelotti maybe in 2 years and pickford is still the same we need to replace him. The way we improve is to follow klopps model. Took him a few years. Get everyone super fit to play the high press. Problem at CB pay big money. Goalie ok but make mistakes pay big money for a proper keeper. We have bought too many rubbish players. Pickford is adequate for now and hopefully he will get better. But his positioning can be poor at times and he does make mistakes and doesn't command his box. When we replace him if we do I want a taller agile keeper but he is not the main priority atm. Getting a decent midfielder is the main one

Not many goalies are saving that. Everyone should be more arsed about schneiderlin who went down like a gobshite and just left the lad with acres of space to get a shot off, unforgivable. Calls for him to be dropped are stupid, he has made some important saves for us in the last few weeks. The answer isn't to drop him and put in Lossl and definitely not Stek based on his past performances under Koeman.
