Hope Jordan's ok. I;d hate to think he feels bad about it.

We just need him focussed for the equally massive game against Newcastle now. A good performance against them will put things right....

Well we're in exactly the same position now as we were before ko. We're one point worse off than we should have been.

It's a huge mistake that he's apologised for. It was also a fluke incident that only ever happens in games against that shower.

If we beat all the dross in this league - which is what we are doing - we're going to be in the hunt for top 6. So yes, Newcastle - and Watford - are huge games.

It definitely is something he can learn from. He made a mistake. It happens. But he shouldn't be blaming luck tbh.

He hasn't blamed luck. He said it's luck that Everton have but he knows it's his mistake.

At the same time, he couldn't have actually done much different once he decided to go for what he did do. The decision was the issue, Tim, and what he should be blamed for. After that it's massive bad luck.

A learning experience for the lad, for certain.

He's a good keeper but he gets ahead of himself. Just needs to get his head down and show a bit of composure.

It's just "Everton being unlucky at Anfield again" though. Not Jordan's fault.

See the "likes" to Connor's post a handful of pages earlier...dunno why he brought it up, apart from the fact that he's probably gotten about 30k Tweets about it since he's been here. As a fan base we're as guilty for perpetuating it as anyone else. I do my best to not use it as a crutch.

I dont care about that, I care about losing to that 'kin lot...something we had achieved until that divvy made another one of his arrogance induced decisions to deny us a morale boosting performance.

Jordan's mentally tough, he said. I wonder when that'll translate to big match winning performances for us then?

Still, the lad believes himself, and he'll quickly forget about this and leave it behind. That's nice for him. I wish I could do that. Must be great being so philosophical when you just committed the biggest bollock in Merseyside derby history. Hats off to the lad.

Stop being a weird drama queen mate, it's embarrassing now

The same divvy that had made a stunning save in the first half to keep it at 0-0, yeh?

I don’t know why you’re being weird mate. It was a balls up. He knows it. We know it.

It can’t be changed.
It's happened before in a derby; and his errors have cost us more than once before this season.

I think he;s a clueless GK who is blagging a reputation as a great GK. He's well short of that. His arrognace stinks the place out and he's robbed us today. Is it "weird" to hold that view? Nor from my perspective.
