@Eggs - we have a good 'un here mate

..we have, Matey. If you think about the ‘low’ of that moment at Leicester and see how he’s turned that around says everything about his attitude. Let’s not forget, he’s not had a ‘partner’ to truly link with and demonstrate how effective he is in the attacking third.

I’m chuffed for him, he deserves all the praise he’s getting.

Think he has had 4 different players (Keane, Jags, Williams now Holgate) playing that right side cb spot alongside him as well mate, which must be a huge hindrance to settling into the position, interesting that his upturn in form came when Holgate started playing there - maybe a comfort about knowing each other from the under 23's as a factor.

He's starting to produce the form we saw at under 23 level and for the England junior sides - but at this level now, sky is the limit for the lad - and thankfully seems to have all those intangibles you need to make it to the top level.

Hopefully the rumours about a new contract are true and we get the lad locked down for the next 5-6 years.

...I get the impression Allardyce and his coaches are big fans.

Which is the best news possible for every single academy lad at the club mate, because once a manager rates one coming through the natural instinct is for them to have more faith and trust in using others when they are ready.

Interesting to see if he ever plays with a hopefully fully fit Bolasie ahead of him how he'd do as well, got the feeling he'd come on another level again.

..i’m convinced he’ll show another dimension to his game once he has an effective ‘partner’ in front of him. We know that from the way he played with Dowell. Obviously Coleman is nearing a comeback but we need that level of quality in each position.
