At the moment they arent good enough or experienced enough to show the level and consistency of performance that you're demanding of them. In fact none of our players are.

Not demanding ....expecting. We cannot have loads of potential in a team...we need good standard ready made or we will always be struggling. Don't think Alladyce will put up with a good game then a bad game type of player.

True but he was dropped very regular. Kendall said his positional sense was not good enough.

I really do hope BFS sticks with young JJ. Coleman will be a huge asset but there is no point rushing him.

On a different note, is JJK left back cover too going forward?

I'd hope we will get a specialist left back in mate so JJ can concentrate on his game as a right back.

Baines needs to be replaced in the summer yes. Unless Coleman has hugely regressed, then Kenny's chances are going to become limited however.

I think we won't see the best of Coleman mate until end of the season so if we break the remainder of the season into chunks

Crimbo - Kenny is getting games
New year - Coleman hopefully phased back in but Kenny still rotating
March/April/May - Coleman getting back up to speed but don't forget he hasn't had a pre season so Kenny ready to step in.

We need 2 players for every position, that's why we've been screwed lb because the knobheads in charge thought it a great idea to just have Baines play 9000 games on the spin

He could not play as not listed in squad but if he had been pretty sure a better bet than Martina.

Was wondering that myself, if Coleman comes back and finds form, is Kenny good enough to replace Baines at LB? I've no idea. He did very well last night both in defense and going forward.

I can’t see us not signing a left footed defender in Jan.

On another note - is baines the only left footer we have in the squad this season? (Funes Mori as well who won’t play this season) terrible balance to not having any other left footers in the squad

He wasn't registered in the team by Koeman

Because he's now 24, he can't be registered until January

Well if the senior players dont buck up the youngsters will continue to get more game time than they should. At least they'll be getting more experience.
