Didn't miss his him one bit. We need to accept that he should be released, great lad but doesn't have the required ability.
But Coleman is almost done so what would be the point in releasing him when the other RB is finished and Patterson 'isn't ready'. For me he's a decent cheap squad player

But if Patterson isn't ready then he wouldn't just be a squad player would he? That's the issue really. Kenny's shown over the last month exactly what he is, a player who can come in and do you a solid job for a game or two, but who will ultimately fail when asked to put together a consistent run of games at a good level. If Patterson is ready to be the undisputed first choice next year i'd give Kenny a new contract, if he isn't then we need better (obviously based on being in the PL).

Think he's getting far more stick than he deserves. Yes his sending off was reckless but he was very good the first half and didn't shy out of a tackle. I hope if he does get an extension he continues putting the hard work in outside of training because after the extra sessions he looked night and day getting some assists and reading the game better.

For me I'd probably flog Coleman and use Patterson and Kenny in rotation over next season. Signing a up and coming RB like Patterson was something which should of been done years ago when seamus was on the decline but now we're stuck with a declining club legend, a average RB and a up and coming RB (none are Miles out infront as first choice)

I did say a few months ago he'd get a crack and got laughed at, for me he's worth if a new contract, there's so many more on bigger wages who need to go before this guy

Clearly well liked by Lampard…let’s hope he puts in a solid performance. Confused about where he’s playing though. RWB? LWB? Hate this five defenders thing. It almost never works for us.
