That's true enough mate, but Godfrey is our usual 'go to' option when we don't have a LB available. When he's out as well, we now have Kenny as a solid option. The way he performed at the weekend, I can see him playing more games for us, at RB or LB.

I do, but his performances on the main for us have been well below what I expect from a Premier League fullback.

Im all for giving him a run and seeing if he can "kick on" from that performance, what im against is giving him a new contract on the back of 1 game.

It is a pity that his contract runs out so quickly. I agree that at the moment it would not be prudent to give him a long term expensive contract.... we have been doing that for too long.

But, if Jon Joe were prepared to sign maybe a one/two year contract then I would have no problem with that and let him earn a longer one over the next season or two.
