I don’t agree with it myself but Maybe Frank is fed up of having to shoehorn CBacks in the wrong position to do a job.
He might want proper cover on each position, JJK will be cheaper than buying elsewhere.

People are saying Holgate and Godfrey can do a job, can you not remember when we down to our bare bones at the back, if Mykolenko or Coleman had been injured we would have had nothing.

I will reserve judgement to see if it’s actually true and to see what our squad resembles come August.

I imagine Kenny will be LB cover for Mykolenko and Nkounkou will be sold for a few bob to help with our FFP troubles.

The club have really bottled that released list because they can bring themselves to tell us that he’s staying.

Tbf, his new deal will probably come in around £20k p/w & he offers cover at both left back & right back should injuries arise. Think it's a no brainer tbh. He'll likely get very little play time if we somehow manage to avoid injuries - with a transfer cap & more vital area to focus on, don't mind it personally...

He played a leading role in very nearly getting us relegated. I usually try to see the positive aspect of deals like this in terms of loyalty and continuity, but he just isn't good enough and will be a concern every time he gets on the pitch. Baffling.
