Moyesie has more sense than to buy this piece of sheet from the Chavs..

I can't stand the guy in case you hadn't worked it out. Maybe you remember the Manc/Chav argument over him and how he magically changed his mind. Maybe you remember the Souness like tackle on Lee Carsley (I think) which got him a red card in the LC Semi. Maybe you remember his antics in other games. Sorry lads, he's not and never will make an Everton type player.

Reminds me of a story going round years ago Bruce Rioch took a player down with one of the worst tackles seen at Goodison and the Chairmen told the manager thats not the way we play and he is not our type and he was transferred(y)

As I've said what is an Everton type player? Was Duncan Ferguson and Everton type player? I think he was yet he was agressive and used to punch, elbow and strangle people. He's certainly labled a legend by alot of fans.

Souness like tackle? He fouled Neville and to be honest it wasn't even a sending off. Harsh decision in my opinion. Mistimed and clumsy yes but it wasn't malicious.

I don't agree with this "he's not an everton type player" thats thrown at every player who isn't a model professional in the Neville/Carsley mould. As Yakubu proved they don't have to fit that bill to do well here.

Fair enough if you don't rate him but I think this he's not an Everton type player is bollocks.

I never heard anyone say Graveson wasn't an Everton type player in his first spell and I remember him leaving a few calling cards at knee height. And have you forgotten some of the stuff Psycho Pat and Peter Reid dished out.
