I would imagine Hughes staying in the same hotel as Terry and Lescott during the break might just constitute a lack of permission.
Leaking his wages to the press isn't exactly playing fair either.

I can see us getting compensation, it wouldn't surprise me at all. City definitely will have acted illegally, most clubs do but it's overlooked as being part of a transfer. It's just the docking points that I don't think will ever happen. I could just imagine Moyes suggesting it with a rueful grin, "I don't care, do whatever we can to them, get them relegated, force them to play their home games in the Shetlands, they aren't getting away with it, **** 'em."
 
Had a very intresting drunk conversation about Lescott....my taxi driver knew Jose Baxter and he said that Jose, Lescott and Cahill went out and about in America...an some City fan (girl) came up to Lescott and said ill kiss you if you sign for city...and Lescott said "i owe you a kiss then"

He also said Moyes's asking price was £22 million, not £30 million like in the press...

Gone for 24M. He's not worth that much and in hindsight its not a bad deal.

I was actually in his corner til he goes on his I don't wanna play today rant. I'm not the brightest bulb sometimes. Good riddance. We'll be fine w/o him.
 

moyes says he gonna report city for tapping up to the fa. but following that the fella doing the papers on ssn says it no different to how we signed lescott from wolves. not the first time i've heard this chain of events that we did to wolves what city are doing to us. all i remember was waking up one day he'd signed for us, seemed like a simple transfer went through at the time. can anyone shed some light on this for me please.

There definitely wasn't blanket media quotes of his future salary or any chance meetings in Dubai hotels. The fine, if any, will be pocket change for them and any points deduction will be suspended like in the Cashley to Chavs case but still proves Hughes is either a lying **** or completely ignorant of the goings on at the club he allegedly manages.
