i love banter mate in the right way and thats why im a member of various fans forums even lower league ones (y)

I can handle Bluemooner, so long as he brings the grandiloquent Stuart Hall with him to do the match commentary at the next derby. My grandfather said he never laughed so hard as when he apparently called the bag of sh*t that was Tommy Smith a "dyspeptic water buffalo".

These people saying we should sell Lescott haven't got a clue.

They have bid £15m and then £18m.

Could we bring in a centre back and left back cover for that amount? Hull want £12+m for Turner, Newcastle £8+m for Taylor....

Haven't got a clue? About what?

I never thought Moyes would be able to sign a defender for 5m and possibly get offers of 20m + for him...a few seasons later

Same goes for Jags, Cahill, Arteta....All are worth well more than we got them for (I'm not selling sell them) Just saying paying 5m for a defender won't mean we'll get a replacement 1/4 as good as Lescott

If there's one man who could buy in replacements for that much, its our Davey

Not likeing the change is stance from the press, last week it was all Moyes and Everton upholding the integrity of the game, this week its why Moyes must sell Lescott.

They can do one as far as i am concernd, not forgetting their role in this whole affair.

Free the independent thinkers.

Something that would make me chuckle -
SAF comes in with an £18 mill + player bid for lescott and DM sells. ha ha.
Stick that sparky.

or

lescott goes and plays left back for the rest of his career at city.

we all know he doesnt like playing there don't we.:@

The first scenario has crossed my mind , especially the links between the 2 clubs & UTD's defensive problems.......:dodgy:

He has a good relationship with Fergie .
He should ask him to put a phoney bid in to bump the price .

It wouldn't surprise me to see a Man Utd player come in on loan / free / cheap as chips in this window .

Scholes might be a good DM for us and is a good passer of the ball .

perhaps we could start a rumour............

hey guys, my friend knows one of the security guys at OT and he was at a dinner last night, he reckons Fergie will be after Lescott now because of the injuries to his CB's.

The first bit about the security guard is true, the rest might be.

i know some felt and still feel im on here as a wind up but thats not my style and my future posts throughout your forum will prove that over time im here.

why's my rep sniper been banned ?:o

Sorry mate but you're a troll, end of.

Where were you last season when we beat you? No where to be seen.

Yet the minute city start buying everyone you pop up here, accusing anyone who doesn't agree with your view of Lescott of being "vile"

I welcome posters from other clubs as long as they're not wind up merchants (however subtle). I'm afraid you've blotted your copy book with your previous condescending posts, and as far as I'm concerned you're as welcome here as a fart in a spacesuit.

it's a hard one I reckon.if I thought we could get 20mil for him and then buy 2 or 3 players including someone of the same quality to replace him well then maybe yeah let him go but as we've seen signings are something we are struggling to make. that's why I voted no

That would be a classic twist - Utd would get revenge for the tevez pi*s taking posters etc. Us blues would except he was stepping up not stepping down (thats what upsets me the most about the city/lescott affair) and we would get a fair wedge for a player who cost us very little - (grudgingly) Bring it on fergie

Not sure if this has been posted but

On SSN, it said Manchester City were preparing a bid for £20 million with Richard Dunne.

Didnt they already offer some 20m plus onuoha? i'd sooner take nedum, he's got a future and will be worth lots of money one day
