I think DM would be wise getting Senderos regardless of the Lescott situation, so if the worst does happen at least we'd have someone with experience in that position.

No ones saying Lescott isnt replaceable. But at the moment, with the league starting next week, it would be a major gamble.

The defenders Azzbot has thrown out, while good defenders, wouldnt really look like a great deal especially when those players are regular defenders for their teams, and their clubs know we've got x amount of money. They will charge a large fee due to the way transfers are nowdays.

What would happen is that you'd go back on yourself. Letting a defender go, receiveing a large sum of money only to spend 70% of that money finding a replacement, leaving 30% of it to actually either find cover or improve the squad. Its just a merrigoround where all you've done is created a problem you didnt need to, paid a fair chunk of money to patch it up, then used the rest of the limited funds left to try improve the squad.

At this point in time, Lescott going would cause massive problems. If he went at the end of May or something, giving us more time, not a problem. At the moment, it will be a problem.

They just said on SSN that City are looking at other targets after failing to make leeway with everton, Everton released a statement saying that they weren't willing to sell a player to a Champions League spot rival

not desperate, just happy, imagine how it feels to be proven right after well over a month of telling everyone he's not going.

You've not been proved right, mate. That can only happen when the window is closed. The fact of the matter (which I've made up) is the following: Moyes is playing a game with City. He's thinking that since Hughes has just a further week to add to the squad by the first game, he'll be tempted to up his offer to £25m+.

We'll see what happens.
