Don't know about Micah.
He's an unbelievable athlete but sometimes he seems a little thick. Saying that he's only twenty and obviously could mature and grow as a player.
Also Micah is on 52k a week which I don't think we would be willing to match.

Doesn't really matter as its a load of rubbish... If Lescott's going its for cash

What we think a player is worth is irrelevent.

Putting aside who WE think is the best player, Gareth Barry's profile in the game is a lot higher than Lescott's, yet he goes for £12m, so why does everyone think we'll get £20-25m for Lescott ?

Moyes has said no one is for sale. Thats good enough for me.

But like every player....they have a price. £20 million for Lescott is alot of money. If we could go sign the Mout with that and a decent centre half then ding dang doo. Joleon is a good player but not irreplaceable

I would agree with this. I'm confident Moyes would improve the squad.

Not worth losing any sleep over.

Anything below £15 million and Moyes won't sell. Man City proberly know that. They'll have to spend big to sign Lescott.

Lescott is younger, has longer to run on his contract and hasn't made any public statements about wanting to leave the club (quite the opposite in fact).

£20m + Richards is beginning to sound like an acceptable offer, but they'd never offer that. Richards seems like the type who needs a headstrong partner, atleast at this point in his career. He could be great next to Jagielka but I'd be shitting myself with him next to Yobo until christmas.

A big NO

I know money talks, but selling him in my mind would send out a negative vibe to the rest of the squad heralding an eventual mass exodus - Arteta, Cahill etc etc , within a few seasons we would be back to square one, albeit much richer - but what good is money when your in the championship.

We must be seen as moving forward - selling our best players is not the thing to do.

The next few weeks could be a very critical time for the future aspirations of Everton football club.

P.S if it comes to the point were we so have to sell him - I demand we shaft Citeh for every penny we can !!!
Lescott for £20 mill - Ferdinand went for £30 mill in 2002!!!

Are you saying we should be getting £30m?

He's no where near as good as Ferdinand

No I'm just saying that in the case of the shiekhs Dildo formerly known as Man City - its very much a sellers market - i.e how much do you want him? prove it £££££££££ etc.(y)

And replacing him for 18 million would be impossible in a world where robbie keane can be sold for £20mill (y)

P.s That driving license pic of yours gives me a migrane :P

Hangeland :) £10 at the most.

Why is that?

Ok, that is an evaluation I can agree with. £10 sounds about right, not a penny more.(y)

Would sign him to clean the boots of Lescott and the rest if I weren't afraid he'd steal the boots and sell on e-bay to earn money.:D
