When you look at some of the players they've signed, most have a bit of history for the wrong reasons.

Barry- Wanted out of Villa to LFC
Adebayor- Disliked by Arsenal fans
Bellamy- golf anyone
Robinho- demanded madrid sell him
Tevez- Center of controversy
Lescott- Went for the wonga

They have assembled a squad, but with those players never a team.
I doubt it will take long for cracks to appear. Bellamy cant control himself, just a matter of time until he decks Robinho.

these are the types of players that a 2nd tier club in the Premiership with loads of money and an unproven manager can attract. you are not going to get top quality players without baggage until you reach the Champions League. these are exactly the same set of players (minus lescott) that Everton would have signed should they have been taken over.

If we get taken over, I wouldn't have the foggiest who Moyes would sign to be honest.
He seems to have his own idea about players. We were interested in Bellamy before he went to Liverpool if I remember correctly.

He's got a few quid now, so lets see who he can bring in.

Chairman Bill Kenwright has worked tirelessly to get the best deal for Everton, achieving a substantial increase on Manchester City's initial offer.

U go Bill! get those extra tiny teds!
(I'm not gonna bag him out too much until I know the exact amount)

Oh well, guess it's pretty much done and dusted. Saga over.. time to see some new faces!

I just hope Lescott doesnt start dishing the dirt -
'My Toffee's Torture' or something like that - I can just see the headline in the Sun - 'Lescott reveals his relief at escaping the clutches of David Moyes'....

He'll be making an even bigger fool of himself if he does.

Just glad the sorry saga is over, now let's move on.

Lescott's a tw@t ..... i hope he breaks his legs !!!!!!!!!!! :@
Go get yourself beat up. Or better yet, find medical help.

I despise ****s who wish harm on people on grounds of things like this. The guy wants a bigger paycheck and a chance to win something. And some f****ng idiot thinks that's good enough reason to hope he breaks his legs. Sick.
