I was suprised by the crowds reaction tonight from my seat in the Upper gwladys . Lescott did not show any reaction to this positive vibe from the assembled hordes which to me either suggests he has one foot out the door or was uncomfortable with the spotlight being on him .

I am nigh on 100 per cent certain he will leave either now or in January . After tonight , if he leaves , he will get a hot reception on his return to Goodison . I was tight lipped tonight myself as I havent got a fcuking clue about anything anymore to be honest .

If I was him and read half the fcukin crap written on these forums, I'd well fcuk off to city.

I often think that, I mean would you want to know? Would it help? They must realise that not everybody can love them. I would have thought some of them look, now and again maybe.

You can just imagine Cahill, he would be posting in the ashes thread.

His body language to me suggested that he is going. The fans chanted his name just before the kick off, didnt turn round and clap or acknowledge what so ever like he usually does, kept his head down. End of the game again the fans were singing his name yet he swapped shirts and headed straight for the tunnel. To me, he has gone.

But then you can read it the other way....he took like it was a normal game. If he acknowledged the fans, people would say it was like a send off.

I dont think he's got anything against the fans to mug them off. And even if he was going he'd definately salute the fans, wouldnt he?

People have strong opinions in the world of sport . It requires a special type of bloke who can brush off harsh opinions like they arent sh*t .

He would mate . There is no doubt for me that he is fond of the supporters . I also have no doubt whatsoever that once he goes to City he will quickly realise just how special our club is . Goodison under the floodlights has few equals ...just ask Phil Neville and he will tell you how special it is . Manchester City as steeped in tradition as they are just cannot compare . Their current stadium is a soulless concrete bowl . FACT

Well I think reading some of the tags below for example, written by his own 'fans' would well make him think twice about loyalty to us.

I mean halfway through last season we were putting him and jags ahead of Vidic and Ferdinand, we were in love with the man and now we're takin the piss out of his head injury, it's fcukin mad.

Ive not read anything about his head injury on here ?

:(:(. For me, is he leaves its because of 2 things.

1. Moyes thinks he can spend the money he would get for him
2. Lescott thinks he will have fun spending the extra £2m a year, over 5 years, thats £10m. Show me anybody who would say no to an extra £10m.

Your right mate . No one in their right mind would turn down 10 million . Lets face it Lescott is from the midlands and has no REAL loyalty to Everton . He doesnt know what it REALLY means like we do so in the grand scheme of things we should remain blase in the face of this farce .

Heard he didn't even acknowledge the fans clapping for him or nothing.

Judas .......

I think maybe he hoped the fans would turn on him, so it will make it easier for him to be sold.
His next step if he is adamant he wants to leave, is to hand in the request that was mentioned. He would lose the sign on fee i believe. So that why he is reluctant to do so.
