Another top buy from Moyes, getting better every game. Must admit I had doubts when we had to break our wage structure slightly due to the Spanish tax situation to get him as I thought some other players might kick off but he's a fantastic player. If anyone deserves the captaincy at the moment, Heitinga and Fellaini would at least be able to lead by example, but their English would have to be very good.

Yeah I've been thinking the same thing. He's looked intermittently boss in midfield too.

That should be the plan - keep Neill as cover until Jags is back then run Jags & Heitinga as CB.

How long is Distin's contract? Can't see Everton keeping Neill, Distin and Yobo when Coleman is ascending and Rodwell can always take a shift or two at CB.
