Can't complain with money we've got from him Wish him a good career but obviously did'nt want to be here since last year with chelsea started bidding for him :-( We move on and find replacements and give opportunities to Holgate, Pennington and Galloway when possible

Well I'm pretty certain he ain't worth any more than that really, in today's crazy market of course

After his antics last summer he never really looked happy here. Had to leave IMO but will still be a massive loss. An absolutely brilliant player on his day and a joy to watch when he glides forward with the ball.

The funny thing was, Stones was on his way to speak to Martinez at Wigan, then he got the call to say we were interested.

Further along than that mate, i worked with the tv guy who was there at the time and said they'd gotten to the point of an agreed deal and shirt printed, interview scheduled etc... Then he heard of us!

I wonder at what point Koeman realises he's been lied to about the funds available? Imagine looking to sign Mata/Witsel/Koulibaly and you end up having to dip into the loan and free transfer market to have a semi competent squad.

can't really complain. Compared to sterling we've been ripped off. But compared to the priced of silva, aguero, hazard, sanchez etc. we've done brilliantly considering it's a defender who's still largely potential. He could always flop
