Everybody knows Stones is the top Dog now. But if we are looking positives out of this..this gives Distin a chance to redeem himself ( if this alledged bustup ever happened). This also pushes our young guns cause they see a chance here.

Martinez confirmed it was ligament damage the other day. Obviously the ligament is torn (slightly hopefully) and it's not just damage. So, 8 weeks is about right.

Guttted about this, i was hoping it was a injury exagerated just to get him out of the internationals but its sounding like the real deal. A player we are badly going to miss, maybe more than most of the squad.
