Stones is a weird player....excellent on the ball with good passing but lack of defensive positional awareness....and yet he is the best 1-1 ball winner I have seen from his age.

Think Stonesy' will be a really great Centre half he does struggle as a right back because he doesn't have the pace to catch up with players when were over committed to attacks. However he always looks very comfy with the football which is great for a young player.

Lets see what the lad can do tonight in what looks like the most boring England game ever, and it hasn't even started yet. Totally drab fans, in that ugly polished plastic bowl of [Poor language removed] stadium (hope were there this season) but on a positive Hodgeson has at least sacked off all the oldies .

Crap was an exaggeration to be honest, he just doesn't look comfortably there at this level. Also he can't cross and just doesn't have any attacking instinct. Which is understandable tbh.

His crosses so far have been very decent. Some of that at Goodison with Lukaku/Eto'o on the end would do nicely.

Tbh I'm just comparing him to Coleman at right back and himself at centre back, which isn't really fair I guess.
