I would be going all in on Lascelles personally. Cracking defender and a leader as well.

Stones should go abroad. He would be boss in Spain or Italy.

I'd have him back in a flash but he wouldn't come back here and we wouldn't pay what it would take because we'd be snookered for the whole window due to FFP.

Makes seven mistakes per game, he's almost as crap as Michael Keane.

I'd much rather go for a few of those 'United Rejects' like Jones and Smalling. Y'know, the ones who looked so utterly crap when they were first team selections in the FA Cup Semi Final the other day.

How much is he on? How much do they want?

I'm not totally against this. Not totally for mind you. Low transfer fee and negotiated buy back for city might give us a decent option for a couple of seasons whilst the team is overhauled. There's a top player in Stones but he needs to play. In 2 seasons he might be the real deal and back with City or we might be left with a very decent defender.

A bit of creative dealing and if it fits all parties then why not?
