If ever there was a time we don't need to sell a player for big bucks it's now, the new TV deal means we do not need to sell anyone, especially someone on a 4 year contract who does not want to leave, the board needs to stop being sh!thouses and give Bobby 30m to invest this summer and lets have a sneaky look at a champs league place this season.
Has Stones actually said anything yet?

Yes he has, he's very happy here and see's his future at Everton.

Speaking about his future, he made clear he is enjoying life at Goodison Park. He said: 'I am very happy to be at Everton for the future.

'My aim right now is to try and nail down a regular spot in this Everton team and hopefully that will take care of playing for England. I have to keep learning off the likes of Phil Jagielka and keep progressing at this club.'

Perfect. Who'd you rather have as a mentor, Jags or John Terry?

Is Cahill going to sit on the bench then?

Stones will be on the bench at Chelski, best place for him and he knows it is here.

He will be sold if the board wants it, not the player pushing for a move here, Stones would never do that.

I'm no Kenwright fan, but he's in his element here. No one will do him over, even for pennies, so I expect that Stones will stay.

Bill Kenwright said: "David Moyes and I agreed Wayne has to be a £50m player now.
"I would turn down any bid for him and say: 'Thank you very much. What else do you want to talk about?'"

He then sold Rooney for £20m+£7m in add-ons and cried to his mum over it. This is from Fergie's book - ‘It was Aug 2004 and we had just played Everton. Bill Kenwright was crying. As we studied the Everton chairman in his sorrow, he announced that he would like to make a call. Through his tears, Bill said: “I’ll need to phone my mother.”
“They’re stealing our boy, they’re stealing our boy,” he said down the line.
