Nope, standard operating procedure, the first people any club tells when they are about to finalise a multimillion pound transfer is the shop staff so they can tell customers, then I think it's the tea lady, then the ground staff, the local bin men, the cats uncle and finally the press.

Per Koldrup.

In all seriousness mate, I think you're looking back with blue tinted glasses, Martienz has signed some great players as well and Moyes signed some guff. No-one has a 100% transfer record and I wouldn't say his dealings were always confidence filling

Billy, Jo on loan, manny second stint on loan, every striker after their second season, beattie, yak, AJ etc, seemingly signing a young keeper every seaseon to never hear from them again, releasing dier and mustafi, drenthe and shandy, moyes had some stinkers, its just we focus on the ones that worked - as we should do tbh, even fergie had some right whoppers in his time

The tweet about the name on the shirt is true, just rang the club selected option 3 then 3 again explained I wanted the name on the back and they said they won't be putting it on the back and it's not avaliable on the drop down on the online store, which also is true.
