That was a ridiculous price and Chelsea are much smarter than City. Chelsea are paying for potential in Stones, if he went there tomorrow he wouldn't start ahead of Terry or Cahill.

I don't want to see him go but every player has their price.

Let's be serious here if both Stones and Mirallas goes it shows our lack of ambition but also we will have 40m+ to spend.

Chelsea haven't done themselves any favours with how public they've made their bids. If we don't need to sell why should we not hold out for 50 million plus? We're well within our rights as he has the potential to be the best.

He'd start ahead of Terry most games, unless things go wrong. Terry will be a sub this year if Stones arrived. Stones may start from the bench for the first few months but he'd be a starter by November IMO.
